Former Trojan Aaron Cunningham makes MLB debut

Aaron CunninghamVancouver, WA - Aaron Cunningham, the 22-year old former star for the Everett Community College Trojans, made his Major League debut for the Oakland Athletics on Monday. 

The 2005 All-NWAACC outfielder went 2-4 including a double and drove in a pair of runs in a 12-4 Oakland home loss against Minnesota.

Cunningham, a 2004 South Kitsap High School grad, was drafted in the 6th round by the Chicago White Sox after his freshman season at Everett. Following trades to Arizona then to the A's, he had brief stints with Double-A Midland of the Texas League and Triple-A Sacramento of the Pacific Coast League.
