Grays Harbor's Bryan McGriff inks with Eastern Oregon University Men's Basketball
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team has announced the signing of Bryan McGriff to a Letter of Intent, Head Coach Jared Barrett announced today. McGriff is the fifth member of the 2014-15 recruiting class.
"We are very ecstatic in welcoming Bryan to the EOU Men's Basketball program," head coach Jared Barrett said. "He brings a level of toughness and scoring that will instantly make our team better. Bryan shoots very well from the perimeter, handles the ball well to create his own shot and is skilled with his back to the basket. He loves being in the gym and loves to compete."
McGriff comes to Eastern Oregon after spending the last year at Grays Harbor Community College. In his sophomore year, McGriff, a six-foot seven inch 220 pound forward averaged 24.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. McGriff scored a season-high 32 points on December 20, 2013 against Walla Walla Community College. He followed that performance two days later with another 32 point performance against Blue Mountain Community College.
McGriff earned First Team NWAACC West Region last year for the Chokers.
McGriff joins Dylan Radliff (Central Washington), Nick Edens (Gig Harbor High School), Caulin Bakalarski (South Kitsap High School) and Katahdin (KJ) Bosco (Benson Tech High School) in the recruiting class.
