Everett's RJ Magar signed NLOI to play at Notre Dame de Namur University

Starting two-guard on the Men's Basketball Team, RJ Magar signed a National Letter of Intent to play next season at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA today.

Magar is a 3.84 student from Hazen High School in Renton, WA. He started 27 of 27 games this season and averaged 16.33 points a game, 3rd highest on the team. Magar had 441 points on the season, shooting 33.8% from field goal; 32.5% 3-point range and 87.5% Free Throw - 2nd in NWAACC Conference. He had 105 rebounds - averaged 3.89 per game, 37 assists, 31 steals and 3 blocked shots.

Magar participated on the 2014 Northern Region Men's Team at the 2014 NWAACC Sophomore All-Star Event on March 9th. He was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2013 Red Devil Classic hosted by Lower Columbia College in November 2013 and at the 2013 Clackamas CC Holiday Tournament in December 2013. RJ was also named to the NWAACC All-Academic Sports Team for Winter 2013.
