Kevin Stanley inks his NLOI
ABERDEEN, WA -- William Jessup University adds a new shooter to their roster as Grays Harbor College guard Kevin Stanley announced that he is relocating to Rocklin, CA to play with the Warriors for the upcoming 2011-12 season.
The 6-foot, 4-inch shooting guard grew up in Portland, OR and attended Clackamas High School, where he helped lead the school to the Oregon State Tournament all four years he played. He was named to the all-state honorable mention roster his junior and senior years.
During his sophomore year at Grays Harbor College, Kevin led the team in 3-point shooting and was the second leading scorer averaging nearly 13 points per game. His average of more than 1 assist per game, along with 5 ½ rebounds and 1 steal per game gives the Warriors confidence that he can help their program rebound from a 12-17 season.
“I am excited about the opportunity to work with Kevin. He is an excellent student and will make a positive impact on our basketball program both on and off the floor, ” says William Jessup Head Coach Aaron Muhic.
“He will provide our team with toughness, rebounding, and outside shooting,” Muhic adds.
GHC Head Coach Tyler Gaston reflects on his former player, saying “Kevin has been our most reliable and hardest working player over the last two seasons. William Jessup will be happy to have Kevin in their program because he uses his strong work ethic to constantly improve not only his ability as a shooter, but as an all-around player.”
