Edmonds Hires Tarrance Tucker for Women's Head Basketball Coach

Edmonds, WA - Edmonds Community College has recently named Tarrance Tucker III as their new Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Tucker most recently served as the Head Coach at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, but also has spent time within the NWAACC system, assisting at both Grays Harbor College and Pierce College. In 2006 he volunteered with the University of Washington’s Men’s Basketball team under Head Coach Lorenzo Romar. Throughout this time Tucker learned that structure and discipline are the key factors in building a successful program. “I am excited to have Tarrance on board at Edmonds Community College. His educational and coaching background makes him a great fit, and I look forward to watching the growth of women’s basketball under Coach Tucker’s guidance,” says Athletic Director Clay Blackwood.

Coach Tucker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Seattle University and an Associate of Arts degree from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom. Aside from coaching, Tucker works at Everest College as a High School Presenter.
