Kyle Gray assumes reins as head coach for Edmonds men's basketball
Kyle Gray will enter is first season as the head coach of the Edmonds Community College Men’s Basketball team for the 2012-13 season.
Gray previously served eight years as the head coach of the Men’s Basketball team at Seattle Community College until the athletic program was cut following the 2011-12 season. In his eight years with the Storm, Gray coached several competitive teams, including last year where the Storm finished one game out of making the NWAACC Championship Tournament from the tough North Division.
Gray also organized his free throws for a cause fundraiser where the men's basketball team raised over $18,000 for local charities and non-profit organizations in the last 7 years.
Gray earned his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences from the University of Washington in 2005 and his Masters in Physical Education from Seattle Pacific University in 2010. He is currently the elementary PE teacher at Viewlands Elementary School.
He currently lives in Ballard with his wife, Kadee.
Coach Gray and his coaching staff are very eager to get started at Edmonds and help bring back the winning tradition to the Tritons.
