Lower Columbia's Hank Robinson signs to play basketball at University of Alaska Fairbanks
Longview, WA -- Red Devil freshman basketball player Hank Robinson has signed a NCAA D-2 scholarship at Alaska Fairbanks.
Robinson averaged 8.9 points per game for Lower Columbia College last season.
LCC head coach Jim Roffler was hoping to get another year to help Robinson develop, but he understands the opportunity. "Hank received a great offer and I look forward to seeing him flourish at the next level", said Roffler.
Robinson came to LCC from Pe Ell, where he led the Trojans to the State championship as a junior.
Robinson’s mother Donna played basketball at LCC and his father Henry was a star pitcher with the Red Devil baseball team.
The younger Robinson joins another NWAACC player Pat Voeut, the Whatcom point guard who recently signed with the Nanooks.
