Basketball Players of the Week - Week 11#12 Kadeem Stewart - Shoreline
In a desperate fight to climb back into the playoff picture in the Northern Region, Sophomore Kadeem Stewart has definitely done his part, leading the Dolphins on a string of victories to come charging up the Northern Region standings. In a close contest with Bellevue, Stewart finished with 21 points, four steals and five assists in the all-important win. A few days later, Stewart pulled down his fifth double-double of the season with 23 points, 10 assists and five steals. Shoreline is currently tied with Bellevue two games out of the fourth spot in the North with two games remaining.

Another vital piece on a team fighting for a playoff spot, 5' 11" sophomore post Quynne Eharis has established herself as one of the best posts in the league. She is leading the NWAACC in rebounds* with 12.54, and is 9th in scoring at 17.83 points per contest. Eharis' big numbers continued in a pair of huge wins- first over Umpqua, where she blocked three shots, pulled down 12 boards and scored 19 points, including the winning bucket with three seconds on the clock. Eharis followed up her performance with 25 points, 19 rebounds, six blocks, two steals and an assist in just 24 minutes in a win over Portland.
Nominator's comments: "Shot 62% from the field against PCC and only played 24 minutes due to foul trouble. Against Umpqua she scored the last basket to win the game with :03 on the clock."
