Women's Course Map

Plantes Ferry Sports Stadium is a grass soccer complex with a few, short (5ft) perpendicular sections of asphalt that the runners will cross several times during the race. Spikes are recommended. This is not a particularly hilly course but is harder than it looks due to the many small berms and undulations that separate the soccer fields. The course is laid out in loops for both the men and women so it is easy to follow and very spectator friendly.

The start features a 600 m straight stretch before the first corner and the finish is straight and approximately 200 meters. Mile markers will be indicated with signs and Km marks will be marked on the grass. The course will be double lined and will be marked caution tape, pennant flagging, survey flagging and cones. Athletes must stay within the course markings at all times during the race.

In 2011, this course was host to the NCAA Division II regionals, pre-nationals and the NCAA DII national championships. We are honored to host the NCAA Division II national race again in 2013, to be held on the same course. This championship venue also was host to the 2006 USATF JO Nationals, USATF 2010 Elite XC Nationals as well as the 2008 USATF Club National Championships.

Final race results for all coaches, media, and officials will be available as soon as possible after the race.
