This position will serve as head women’s basketball coach, reporting to the Director of Student Life. Responsibilities include: Provide administration, leadership and direction to conduct women’s intercollegiate basketball
program. Teach individual and team basketball skills and strategies, build teamwork, and develop and enforce
training rules. Monitor and support the academic performance and progress of student-athletes.Scout and recruit student-athletes who are qualified both academically and athletically. Establish and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with local area high
school basketball coaches and programs. Conduct intercollegiate program in accordance with NWAACC and college regulations.

Responsibilities will include: promoting a balance between athletic and academic achievement; recruiting talented athletes; assisting the coordinator for athletics in the development of schedules, travel arrangements and necessary arrangements for home contests; assisting with preparation of the ASEdCC budget request; inventory and maintenance of all sports equipment and uniforms; facility/equipment maintenance as needed; following proper purchasing procedures as required by the State of Washington, Athletic Director and described by the college business office, and ensuring that deliveries are signed as received so payment can be generated; driving college vans to games; fundraising and organizing camps and clinics.
