Class of 1998

One of the most successful high school basketball coaches in the county. Has been the head coach at Mercer Island High School since 1968 winning nearly 80% of his games and leading the Islanders to 15 KingCo League titles and three state championships in 1985, 1993, and 1997.

Played for Everett Junior College during the 1950-51 seasons before transferring to the University of Utah where he was team captain and second team all-conference. Was the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Region 7 Coach of the Year in 1985 and 1993.
