Latest NWAACC Volleyball and Soccer Polls

Vancouver, WA -- The latest Horizon Air / Coaches' Polls have been released for volleyball and soccer.

Volleyball
Top-ranked Tacoma (5-1, 32-4) continues to hold its position as the league's top team. The Titans, who have won ten of their last eleven matches since last poll, received five first place votes this week.  Blue Mountain (6-1, 26-5) have also won ten of their last eleven matches and move up a spot to second. Spokane (7-0, 23-10) dips a spot to third while Bellevue (5-1, 18-5) makes the biggest move this week, climbing three spots to fourth.

Men's Soccer
Chemeketa (7-0-1, 12-0-2) , on a fourteen match unbeaten streak, takes top ranking for the fourth consecutive poll. The Storm lead the league with 50 goals and thus far, only Edmonds has been able to hold Chemeketa's high powered offense scoreless this season. After spending a few weeks at third, Walla Walla (6-2-0, 9-2-0) climbs back into the second spot followed by Clark (7-2-0, 8-3-0) who jump from fifth last poll to third this week.  Peninsula (4-2-2, 8-4-3) and Treasure Valley (6-3-0, 6-3-0) round out the top four tied in fourth.

Women's Soccer
Walla Walla (9-0-0, 12-1-0) continues to impress the voting coaches as they extend their win streak to eleven, including wins over four of the top eight teams in this week's poll. Columbia Basin (8-1-0, 10-1-0), whose only loss came at the hands of Walla Walla in a 1-0 match, remain solidly in second spot this week.  Chemeketa (7-0-1, 7-0-1) leaps two spots into third this week.  The Storm are only in their second season of play, but have really turned heads with great defensive play, allowing just one goal so far this season.  Clackamas (6-1-1, 6-2-2) holds the fourth spot for the second straight poll.
