Men's basketball holiday tournament results & all-star teams

Vancouver, WA -- Two men's holiday basketball tournaments concluded Wednesday, but only one champion was decided. Lower Columbia took the Clackamas Holiday Tournament, while the Clark Holiday Invitational bracket had to be altered for today's action.

Winter conditions prevented Chemeketa from making the trip from Salem to Vancouver Tuesday to take part in their semi-final match up with Walla Walla which caused tournament officials to make some bracket adjustments. Both Walla Walla and Chemeketa went undefeated in their two games at the tournament [bracket].

In a match up of two NWAACC titans, top-ranked Lower Columbia got an early lead on second-ranked Clackamas and never relinquished. The Red Devils led by as much as 20pts midway through the game. Clackamas made a late surge in the end but couldn't find enough in a 87-79 championship win for Lower Columbia [bracket].
