NWAC Mascot Challenge reaches Final Four!

Mascot Challenge Final Four

Portland's Poppie the Panther, Big Bend's Thor the Viking, Everett's The Trojan and Douglas' Roary the Lion won their head to head competitions this week to remain alive in the NWAC Mascot Challenge.

Despite nearly doubling their vote tally from the first two weeks, and a dominate Twitter performance, Dev fell just short of Poppie the Panther.  Poppie continues to rack up the votes and will move on to week 4.

In what was informally touted as the border battle, Roary got 43 more likes than Willie which was the closest margin of victory in the head to head matchups this week.

The Snohomish County Showdown featured The Trojan and King Triton.  The twitter and Instagram margin was just 12 Likes, but thanks to a big performance on Facebook the Trojan will advance to week 4.

Thor held a 4 vote like over Blazer Bill after the Facebook tally, but the Centralia native overtook the lead after the Twitter tally by 8 votes.  Instagram was the deciding factor in this one, and Thor will advance.

The Week 4 head to head matchups will be: Poppie vs Thor & The Trojan vs Roary.
