Chemeketa and Walla Walla top Horizon Air basketball polls

Vancouver, WA -- The latest Horizon Air / Coaches' Poll basketball rankings have been released.

Men's Basketball
Chemeketa (1-0, 11-0) knocks Lower Columbia of the top sport for the first time this season.  The Red Devils  (2-1, 11-1) suffered their first loss of the season against Tacoma while Chemeketa improved their undefeated record to 11-0 with a huge last second come-from-behind win against then #2 Clackamas in Oregon City last Saturday. The Storm take the top spot followed by Lower Columbia, Tacoma and Clackamas. Women's Basketball
There was no change in the top four of the women's poll. Walla Walla (1-0, 12-0) collected five first place votes against Lane's three first place votes to edge the Titans (1-0, 12-1) for the top spot for the second consecutive poll. Clackamas held in third with Centralia rounding out the top four. [complete poll]
