NWAC HEADLINES

Skagit Valley Women's Basketball Headed to 23rd Consecutive Tournament

The Skagit Valley Cardinals will be headed to the NWAACC Basketball Championships being held March 6-9 at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA. With four games remaining on their schedule and a five game lead over fifth place Seattle, the Cardinals will head to the tournament.

This will the be the Cardinals 23rd consecutive appearance. The Cardinals haven't missed postseason play since 1988. Skagit Valley finished second in 2009.

The Cardinals are led by Keri Arendse who averages 15.10 points per game. Ardense also leads the team in steals.
