Four More Women's Teams Headed to Kennewick

Vancouver, WA - Four NWAACC women's basketball teams secured spots Saturday night to this year's NWAACC Basketball Championships. Walla Walla and Yakima Valley took two of the four spots available in the East. They are currently tied for the lead at 10-1 with three games remaining. If both teams end the season tied, Yakima Valley would be the higher seed for the NWAACC Tournament.

In the West region, Lower Columbia defeated Highline to distance themselves just enough to secure their pass to the Tri-Cities.

Defending champion Lane will definitely make the trip to defend their title.

The NWAACC Basketball Championships will be held March 6-9 at the Toyota Center. For more information, visit the championship page.
