South Puget Sound 12-15-1
W- Glaspie

HR
CBC- Lokken GSHR, Harp, Valdez, Travis
SPSCC- Hawkins, Lane, Homann, Sanders.

Summary
Columbia Basin came from behind to knock South Puget Sound out of the NWAACC Tournament. The Clippers had 9-3 lead starting the fourth but CBC's Jamie Lokken hit a Grand Slam to get the Hawks to within two and back into the game. The Clippers answered in the bottom of the fourth with two solo homeruns back-to-back by Amanda Homann and Megan Sanders. However, a two-run shot by Jennie Harp (CBC) kept the Hawks close. The Hawks pulled away in the seventh and shut down the Clipper offense. Columbia Basin advances to play Bellevue at 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

The Clippers finish their season 24-6, 30-16.

Game 14
Peninsula 4-8-0
Highline 0-8-1
W- Rosencrants
L- Draeger

Summary
The Pirates' defense was "on-fire" said Peninsula Head Coach Heather Sankey. The defensuve shutout of Highline combined with four runs from the offense advanced PeC to their first appearance on the second day of the NWAACC Tournament.

Peninsula improves to 27-18 and will play Walla Walla Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Highline finishes their season 19-26.

Game 15
Lower Columbia 11-12-1
Everett 5-7-0
W- O'Neil
L- Schlins
HR- O'Neil (LCC), Ridout (LCC), Monson.
Monson (EVCC) was 4 for 4.

Summary
The Red Devils had a great second inning scoring eight runs to smother Northern Region Champion Everett. The Trojans started a comeback but it was not enough as LCC used a seventh inning homerun from Carri O'Neil to put the game out of reach.

The Red Devils advance to the quarterfinals to face Clackamas. Everett drops into the losers' bracket to play Spokane.

Game 16
Wenatchee Valley 0-4-1
Clackamas 1-4-2
W- Santos
L- York

Summary
This game was tightly played with each team missing out on opportunities to score. The game's key moment came as Cotie Howard hit a leadoff triple in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Clackamas an excellent chance to score. Pinch runner Jessica Calderon replaced Howard and eventually scored the winning run to give the Cougars a berth in Saturday's Quarterfinal game against Southern Region Rival Lower Columbia.
