Everett Women Win Second Straight Cross Country Title

Spokane, WA- The Everett women entered the 2012 NWAACC Cross Country Championship meet as the team to beat. The Trojans did not disappoint. EVCC turned in a dominating performance, winning 27 points ahead of second place Spokane. Everett placed all seven runners in the top 15 and all five scoring runners were in the top seven.

Everett was led by Marren Haneberg who placed second in the meet just ahead of teammates Katie Strong and Veronica Hall.

Treasure Valley placed third in the meet with a grouping of runners in the 8-10 spots. The Chukars were led by Annie Wade.

The individual title went to Spokane's Jessica Mildes who won in a time of 17:59.
