Former NWAACC soccer coach, Lauro Pizzuto passesLauro Pizzuto coached one season of men’s soccer at Green River in 1982 finishing 4-5-5, third place in the Southern Region and spent several seasons at Shoreline CC in the mid-to late 80's.
Lauro PIZZUTO Lauro was born in Monacilioni, Italy to Maria and Pietro September 16, 1948 and peacefully passed away in Bellevue, Washington November 22, 2011 after a brief illness. Throughout his journey, Lauro was an active member of the church, avid reader and compelling writer. He was a passionate educator, mentor and coach to many. Lauro leaves behind his wife Diane, his children Tara (David), Cory (Jeni), Kelen (Nathan), Ryan (Emily), Mia and Nicholas, his brothers Franco (Julie) and Vinny (Laura) and his precious grandchildren Max, Sofia, Anna, Lola, Nina, Oliver, Zoe and Mila. Our beloved father Lauro was a shining example to us all and will be dearly missed. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family in Kirkland, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Family Kirkland School Scholarship Fund or St. Vincent De Paul of Holy Family Kirkland.
