Former Clackamas pole vault standout Becky Holliday currently ranks fourth in the country with an indoor vault of 15' 0" that occurred at the Bell Athletics Pole Vault on May 12th in Jonesboro, AR.
This puts Holliday in a promising position to finish in the top three at the Olympic Trials and represent the United States at the 2012 Olympics.
The trials take place at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR on June 21 - July 1, 2012. The women's pole vault finals take place on June 24th at 2:35pm.
Holliday set the current NWAACC women's record of 14-4 at the 2001 NWAACC Track and Field Championships and later went on to the University of Oregon where she stamped her name on the colligate record books with her then collegiate record clearance of 4.47m/14-8 at the NCAA West Regional at Stanford on May 30, 2003.
