Weekend Volleyball Crossover Results and All-Tournament Teams

Four inter league volleyball crossovers involving all 27 league teams plus a alumni team from Tacoma CC competed this weekend. In total, 76 matches took place and four tournament champions were decided.

Clackamas Crossover - Spokane (5-0 in tourney play) bested host team Clackamas in the championship match with a four set win, 25-16, 25-14 , 23-25, 25-23. Spokane Sasquatch Brigitte Lowe, a 5'8" sophomore outside hitter from Moscow, ID was named the tournament MVP.

Tacoma Crossover - Linn-Benton (6-0 in tourney play) took down host Tacoma in four sets, 18-25, 25-15, 25-11, 26-24. Linn-Benton Roadrunner Hannah Bell, a 5'9" sophomore outside hitter from Canby, OR was named the tournament MVP.

Walla Walla Crossover - Mt. Hood went 5-0 in round robin play to take 1st place at the Walla Walla Crossover. Host Walla Walla finished second with a 4-1 record, only losing to Mt Hood in three sets 26-24, 25-18, 25-14. Mt. Hood Saint Rylie Engelson, a 5'9" sophomore setter from Pendleton, OR was named the tournament MVP.

Whatcom Crossover - Yakima valley went 7-0 and defeated runner-up Lower Columbia 20-25 29-27 15-7 in the championship match to claim the Whatcom Crossover.  Yakima Valley Yak Tori Farias, a 5'8" sophomore outside hitter from Yakima, WA was named the tournament MVP.
