Walla Walla's Dominguez & Hanus ink to play volleyball at Div II programs in 2012

Walla Walla Community College has announced that volleyball players Brittany Dominguez and Kayla Hanus have each signed Letters of Intents at NCAA Division II institutions.

Dominguez has selected Cal State East Bay and Hanus will travel across the country to play at North Carolina’s Brevard College.

Dominguez was a two-time conference selection for the Warriors and was named to the NWAACC/AVCA 1st Team All-American squad as well as being named the East Region Co-MVP in 2011. A good student-athlete, she also earned NWAACC Sophomore All-Academic honors this past season.

Hanus was also named to the NWAACC/AVCA All-American team as a 2nd-team selection in 2011.

Both are expected to make immediate contributions after leading WWCC to a 2nd Place finish at the 2011 NWAACC Championship Tournament.
