Clackamas' Baumgartner signs with Glenville State College Volleyball

OREGON CITY -- Sophomore outside hitter Natalie Baumgartner (Willamette HS / Eugene, OR) will continue her academic and athletic career across country at Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia.
Baumgartner was initially a bit apprehensive about traveling across country to continue school, "I was a little hesitant about going so far, but i'm ready for the change and to explore on the East Coast. It'll be great to start fresh with new people and a new perspective of volleyball and college life."
Baumgartner's play helped lead the 2011 Cougars to a fifth place finish at the NWAACC Championship Tournament this past fall.
I am very happy that Natalie has found a 4-year college that she is very happy with and that she can play," said head coach Kathie Woods. "She will be far away from home but it feels like a great fit for her and we are all very proud of Natalie. I am sure they will love her and she will contribute greatly to the program. We will miss Natalie."
