JT Strickler, Rocky Mountain HS / Meridian, ID., went 10 for 22 at the plate with 2 doubles, a triple, 10 runs and 15 RBIs. He also reached base on 5 HBP.
Strickler's .382 batting average is now 8th best in the league.
"JT was excellent this week," said Red Devil coach Eric Lane. "He played hard for his team."
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 25
Will Smith, Shorewood HS / Shoreline, WA., collected a pair of wins to improve his record to 6-0 allowing only a pair of earned runs in 16 innings with 19 strikeouts.
Smith's 6 wins now ranks 3rd in the NWAC while his 1.12 ERA is 6th best and his 50 strikeouts is 12th best.
"Will competed at a high level all day, said Triton head coach Scott Kelly. "He was in command of all his pitches, when that happens Will is very tough to beat!
