NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - May 10
Hudson Byorick, Auburn-Mountainview HS, Auburn, WA
Hudson lead the way for the Raiders who took 3 of 4 against division rival Tacoma. Byorick smashed 4 extra base hits including 2 home runs to go with 6 RBI’s and 4 runs. He continues to be one of the top hitters for Pierce who has turned around a rough start to the season.
“Hudson is a grinder, he has worked his tail off to even be on the field this year after missing the entire 2017 season with a shoulder injury that required surgery," said Raider head coach Kevin Davis. "He is having an electric year for us all-around and is a huge threat in the middle of the lineup. It's been awesome getting the chance to watch his hard work and determination pay off."
