"John ran aggressive," said Cougar head coach Keoni McHone. He was running with athletes that were significantly faster than him and was able to hold on very well the rest of the race. He almost ran his 5,000 meter personal best at the 5,000 meter mark in the race. John was one of the top freshmen in the race, finishing 16th out of 67 runners."

She is missing a leadership trip with Green River College to California to compete at the NWACs so the Gators will have a complete team. She thinks of others before herself."
