Karen Bryant played basketball for the Gators in 1987-88 helping her team to a Western Region co-championship and third place in the NWAACC Tournament. She averaged 12.2 points a game and was named a first team West Region all-star while maintaining a 3.27 GPA.

Bryant began her career with the Seattle Reign, ABL team in 1996 as the Director of Operations & General Manager. When the team went defunct, she was recruited by the Seattle Sonics to keep the team in Seattle, and became the senior director of business operations for the present day Seattle Storm of the WNBA.

After 9 seasons with the Storm, Bryant became the President and CEO where she held the position for 6 years.

In 2014 she stepped down from President and CEO and founded a successful Seattle based consulting firm.
