Eric BeardsleyYakima Valley College Came to YVC in 1946 and lettered twice in football, basketball and track. During the 1948 WSJCAC championship track meet, he took first in the shot put, javelin and pole vault. Also a member of their champion 880 relay team in 1947. Earned all-conference honors in football and baseball, and was team captain of the basketball team in 1948. A member of the NAIA Wrestling Hall of Fame, he became the first wrestling coach at Central Washington University in 1958. Was National Coach of the Year in 1971 and 1974 when his Wildcat teams won NAIA national titles. |
