Highline College
Class of 1993

Marge Command taught nine years at the junior and high school levels before being selected as the women's physical education and health teacher at Highline Community College in the fall of 1964.

She served as the head women's tennis coach between 1964-78. Her teams won three region titles and seven NCWSA championships (1970-75, 77). She was the tournament director from 1972-74 and was named Highline's Teacher of the Quarter in 1992.

She was very strongly committed to developing athletic competition for girls and women and took great pride in being selected into the Community College Hall of Fame for her early work in creating and supporting athletic programs for community college women.
