Class of 2009

Maryanne Allard served Big Bend Community College for 33 years, from 1975-2008. During that time, she was the Women's Athletic Commissioner from 1987-2008 and was Athletic Director from 1999-2008.

In 2001, Allard received the Dutch Triebwasser Award (for outstanding leadership). Upon her retirement, she received Athletic Director Emeritus from Big Bend.

Allard received her BS from Lewis and Clark College. In addition to serving as Athletic Director, Allard also served as the Title IX coordinator and Executive Vice president of Instruction and Student Services.

As women's commissioner and athletic director at Big Bend she provided great leadership and outstanding direction for the school, the Eastern Region and the NWAACC.
