Class of 2013

Nancy Snyder attended Everett Community College from 196601968. She participated in field hockey (team captain), tennis and basketball. Nancy was member of the Washington State Championship tennis team in 66-67, placing second in doubles and was named All State goalie in field hockey in the state of Washington.

Transferring from EVCC to Eastern Washington State College, Nancy was named all league in volleyball in 69 and 70. At Eastern, Nancy earned three letters in volleyball, field hockey, track & field, tennis and basketball, 2 letters in badminton and 1 letter in softball.

Nancy taught 30 years in the Darrington school district and continues to coach. Her Darrington baseball team won the 1981 state baseball champonship and she has won numerous coach of the year honors in volleyball and baseball. In 1997 Nancy was recognized as the Snohomish County Woman of the Year in Sports.
