During his two years at Southwestern, Doron Perkins averaged 23.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and a school record 5.9 assists per game. As a sophomore he finished second in the NWAACC in scoring and assists with averages of 25 points and 6.5 assists per game, scoring a career high 49 points vs Treasure Valley in December and recording three triple doubles in scoring, rebounding and assists during the month of February. At the time, Perkins was one of only two Men’s Basketball players to be named Southern Region MVP in both their Freshmen and Sophomore years.

After leaving Southwestern, Doron continued his basketball career at Santa Clara University for two years and has been playing professionally overseas for the past 9 years. While at Santa Clara he was twice selected to the West Coast Conference (WCC) All-WCC First Team (2004, 2005), led the WCC in steals during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons and was selected to the All-tournament team in 2004.

After finishing his career at Santa Clara, Doron began his professional career playing in the Japan League for the Toyota Alvark and has played in
Germany, Belgium, Israel, China, Greece and Turkey garnering numerous team championships, Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year accolades along the way.
