Vern ThompsonBellevue College Basketball player at BCC under 1998 NWAACC Hall of Famer Coach Ernie Woods during the 1973-74 and 1974-75 seasons. Was team captain in '74-75 where he finished as the fourth all-time scoring list. As a member of the BCC track team, under 2007 NWAACC Hall of Famer Fred Andrew, he set the NWAACC record for the high jump. Drafted by the Atlanta Hawks, he went on to play pro ball in Columbia. He now has a successful career in the city of Kelso police department. |
