Bill Tsoukalas was a two-year letterman for EVJC's baseball team which captured the 1966 NWAACC title. He was a top pitcher and helped lead the Trojans to a Northern Division title and 22-9 overall record. The Trojans beat Spokane twice to win the first ever conference baseball tournament which only had three teams playing in it back then.
Tsoukalas went on to play in the Cleveland Indians farm system before becoming head baseball coach at Seattle University. He has been associated with the Boys & Girls Clubs for 32 years and is now the Executive Director of the Snohomish County Boys & Girls Clubs.
This position has him overseeing a $5.6 million dollar annual budget, 25 employees, 12 club locations and over 17,000 youth members. Tsoukalas is also a member of the Everett Rotary Club and a board member with Leadership Snohomish County.
In 2013 Tsoukalas was awarded the John M. Fluke Sr. Community Service Award. This award is presented annually by Economic Alliance Snohomish County. Since 1970, the award honors an outstanding individual who has made significant contributions to the community.
