Diane SmithGrays Harbor College Diane has served 32 years at Grays Harbor College. She started at Grays Harbor in 1978 as an instructor, volleyball, softball and basketball coach. Her softball teams won the NWAACC championship in 1984 and 1985. She was named the NWAACC Softball Coach of the Year in 1985. In 1987 and 1994, Diane was named the Western Regional Volleyball Coach of the Year. In addition to her duties at Grays Harbor, Diane served several years as the Chair of the Volleyball Sports Committee. From 1985-2004, Diane was the Grays Harbor athletic director. In 2004, she became the Director of Student Success, a position in which she still serves. She continues to serve as the athletics advisor and retention officer. |
