LeRoy BurnsClark College Has been involved with the track and field program at Clark College since 1980. Served as head women's coach between 1980-82 and volunteered his services in 1983 after Clark cut the program and made it a club sport. The program was revived in 1989 and he served as head men's and women's coach until 1992 when he was NWAACC women's Coach of the Year. Just completed his ninth season as assistant coach. Has also coached track at Hudson's Bay and Ridgefield high schools, Oregon State University and the University of Portland. Clark's annual home meet is now known as the Roy Burns Invitational. |
