The Samurai won the Northwest College Women's Sports Association Championship with a 21-1 overall record. The NCWSA was the governing body for the women's collegiate sports in the Northwest before the NWAACC sanctioned women's sports in 1978-79. Shoreline had a league record of 12-0 in the Northwest Community College Women's Conference, a division of two-year schools in which most of the members are currently in the NWAACC Northern Region. It is still the only women's championship in the history of Shoreline athletics.
