1984 Men's Basketball TeamSkagit Valley College The Cardinals went 24-5 to capture their first conference championship since 1959. SVC averaged 93 points a game and won the North Region title. They opened the tourney with a six-point win against Centralia, then beat Spokane by three points in overtime before knocking off Grays Harbor 90-84 in the championship game. The Cardinals were coached by Dave Quall, who served as a state representative from Mount Vernon. |
